Join the YCB Youth Marketing Team for Souls for Soles, a charity concert and fundraising event supporting foot-care and mobility missions for underserved communities. This is a hands-on opportunity for high school students interested in marketing, business, entrepreneurship, social media, nonprofit work, event promotion, and sales. Students will work as a real marketing team with a clear goal: help promote the event and support the sale of 500 tickets at $40 each through organic marketing strategies. Volunteers will learn how to create outreach campaigns, promote an event on social media, design simple marketing content, write persuasive messages, reach out to community groups, track ticket interest, and understand how nonprofit fundraising campaigns work. This is not just a volunteer event. It is a practical career experience where students can build real marketing skills, contribute to a meaningful cause, and add measurable impact to their resume.

What You'll Do

Students will help promote the Souls for Soles charity event through organic marketing techniques, including: Creating social media posts, stories, and short videos Sharing the event with school clubs, family networks, local community groups, and businesses Helping distribute flyers digitally and in approved local locations Writing outreach messages for parents, teachers, community leaders, and local organizations Creating simple marketing campaigns around the event’s mission Tracking outreach efforts and ticket interest Encouraging people to buy tickets or donate through the official event link Supporting event-day promotion if needed
