By accessing or using Youth Career Bridge ("YCB"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform. These terms apply to all users, including volunteers, event organizers, and visitors.

2. Eligibility

YCB is designed for students aged 14 and older. Users under 18 should have parental or guardian consent before creating an account. By registering, you represent that you meet the age requirements and have the necessary consent if applicable.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Volunteer Events

When registering for and attending events:

• You agree to attend events you register for, or unregister at least 24 hours in advance
• You will follow all event guidelines and instructions from organizers
• You understand that volunteer hours are tracked and verified by event organizers
• Misrepresentation of attendance or hours may result in account suspension

5. Code of Conduct

All users must:

• Treat all community members with respect and dignity
• Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior
• Not post false, misleading, or inappropriate content
• Not use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Respect the privacy and personal information of other users

6. Event Organizer Responsibilities

Organizations posting events on YCB are responsible for providing accurate event information, ensuring a safe environment for volunteers, verifying attendance accurately, and complying with all applicable laws and regulations. YCB is not liable for the actions or omissions of event organizers.

7. Intellectual Property

The YCB platform, including its design, features, content, and branding, is owned by Youth Career Bridge. Users retain ownership of content they submit (such as reviews) but grant YCB a license to display and use such content on the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

YCB provides the platform "as is" and makes no warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, or reliability of the service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, YCB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are reported for misconduct. Users may also request account deletion at any time by contacting our support team.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or via email.
