Volunteer with YCB at Ananda Mela to support Souls for Soles through community outreach, awareness, and fundraising for children with foot deformities.
Join Youth Career Bridge (YCB) in supporting Souls for Soles at Ananda Mela. Students will help raise awareness for the Souls for Soles mission led by Dr. Lalita Turaga, supporting children born with foot deformities. Volunteers will engage with festival attendees, explain the cause, distribute informational and donation flyers, direct attendees to the donation QR code, and help with community outreach. This opportunity gives students hands-on experience in volunteering, fundraising, public communication, teamwork, and nonprofit marketing.
What You'll Do
Students will engage with Ananda Mela attendees, explain the Souls for Soles mission, distribute donation flyers, help visitors access the donation QR code, promote the cause, and assist with YCB booth outreach and event operations.
What You'll Learn
Students will develop skills in public speaking, community outreach, nonprofit fundraising, cause marketing, teamwork, event coordination, and communicating the impact of a healthcare-related charitable mission.
